AUJO Seasonal Concert

The Ashland University Jazz Orchestra (AUJO), as well as a group of its alumni members, will be presenting its annual seasonal concert on Saturday, Dec. 7, at 4 p.m., in the Hugo Young Theatre of the Center for the Arts. The event is free and open to the public.

The 19-piece AUJO band will play a variety of selections, headlined by holiday favorites arranged for a jazz ensemble, including “Joy to the World” and “Merry Christmas Baby.” Also to be performed are popular jazz standards such as Count Basie’s “Alright, Okay, You Win,” Duke Ellington’s “Royal Garden Blues,” Woody Herman’s “Woodchopper’s Ball,” and many others.
